Imphal, June 21: The compartmental exams for the students who failed in one subject in this year's HSLC exam will be held some time in the last week of July or first week of August along with the Old Course exam, informed the Controller of exam, N Rajmohan today.

Manipuri, English and language subjects will have a common question with the Old Course.

For Maths, Science and Social Science subjects, the question papers will be set according to the respective syllabi.

Altogether 3000 students may appear in the Compartmental exam while 6000 to 7000 students may appear for the Old Course.
