CM gives pep talks to Ministerial colleagues

Imphal, August 09: Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh has advised his Council of Ministers to understand their weak points and do their home works thoroughly so that they can counter any move and give fitting reply to any questions raised by the Opposition DPA on the last day of the Assembly session on August 11, a reliable source said.

The source said that Chief Minister exhorted the Ministers who attended the Congress Legislature Party meeting held at the CM's conference hall this afternoon to remain inside the House till passing of the Appropriation Bills and face the onslaught of the Opposition unitedly if it tries to create some tricky situation to stall passing of these Bills and wrap up the Monsoon session.

The Chief Minister also proposed that all the Ministers and the officials concerned should stick to their seats and after the lunch hour, all of them should instantly return at the first instance of hearing the bell and take part in the proceeding, the source said.
