Imphal, March 20:
In connection with Additional Director General of Police (Trg/Hr/Hg), IPS Peter Ngahanyui scheduled to leave for North East Frontier Railway on deputation, an order issued by the State Government today has promoted IGP (adm) IPS Shahid Ahmad to the post of ADGP.
In addition to taking charge of Training, Human Rights and Home Guard, Shahid would also look after the Welfare and Administration of State police, mentioned the order.
