Rajkhowa arrives to chair probe panels

Imphal, March 20: Retired Judge of Calcutta High Court, SP Rajkhowa arrived at Imphal today to probe the alleged mass rape of Hmar women by underground cadres at Churachandpur district and also to probe the allegations of sexual molestation of M Naobi Chanu while in the custody of Thoubal police commandos.

Official sources said that Rajkhowa will hold the two inquiries at Hotel Imphal.

Notifications calling all concerned and interested parties to give their affidavits will be issued soon.

The State Govt had set a two month time frame to complete the inquiries.
