Lamka, February 22:
Accusing the state government of habitually failing to honour its commitment and displaying its true colour in deserting the grievances of hill tribals, the Joint Student Bodies representing students' organisation from Hmar, Kuki, Mizo and Zomi community today threaten to launch a novel set of agitation.
Justifying their claims, the student bodies alleged that the government consciously failed to operationalised the 5MVA so far, which the government agreed to do so within two weeks time.
"As if this was not enough' wrote the students handout, and till date rebating electricity bills by the department during their period of agitation, as per the MoU failed to materialized, it further asserts.
