New Delhi, December 27: A two day seminar on Com-munal Harmony and Social Development Through Art and Culture was organised by the Imphal branch of Peace Sponsoring Society, Ukhrul at Langol part III on Dec 19 and 20.A state-ment issued by the Society informed that the Seminar was participated by about 150 persons belonging to various eth-nic groups and communi-ties.

While addressing as chief guest, RS Jassal emphasised on the inevi- tability of integrity for co-existence.

SK Luwang opined that the root cause of the social evils beset-ting Manipur is the degra-dation and bankruptcy of morality.

The seminar was attended by leaders of various communities like president of Hindus-tani Samaj, Ramji Sahni, Kullachandra Khundra-kpam of Meitei Commu-nity, K Sarat of DAC Langol, SB Gurung of Gorkha Community and many others, it said.
