Imphal, July 03:
Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of AMTUC and AMGEO has objected to alleged insertion of the clause to which the JAC had never discussed nor given its approval in the order issued by the State Government in connection with payment of DA for the employees.
In statement, JAC secretary L Priyobratta said that although the order has been formally handed over to the JAC, the copies of the same have been leaked out from the Finance Department and has come to know that a new clause saying that no additional doses of Dearness Allowance shall be payable for the period from 01/07/2003 to 01/07/2005 thus depriving the employees of their DA benefit for two years.
