Imphal, December 03: G Gandhi Kabui's 41st minute goal helped TRUGPU, nambol wrest the coveted title of the 26th Shirui Cup Invitation Football Tournament 2005.Playing Churachandpur outfit Lenlai in the title match of the prestigious tournament at Tangkhul Naga Long ground, ukhrul today Gandhi broke the stalemate of the pulsating contest that gauranteed TRUGPU to walk home with the top prize of Rs 35,000 and the running trophy.

lenlai pocketed Rs 25,000 runners-up booty while the team's Semlalen Kamde was adjudged the best goalkeeper of the competition carrying a cash prize of Rs 2000.Player of the tournament and highest scorer awards each carrying Rs 2000 were bagged by Lenlai's Thanggoulen and Prem of YAC, respectively.

RYO, Ukhrul bagged the fair play award having cash amount of Rs 3000.
