Imphal, December 03: Even though no itinerary has been fixed in connection with the proposed visit of President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam hectic consultations are on to identify spots where the visiting dignitary might tour.

As requested by the Manipur University authorities to address its tenth convocation, the President has agreed to visit the State but the possible date of arrival is yet to be conveyed, said a highly placed source.

In case the visit takes place, the President is likely to lay foundation stone of the 1500 capacity cultural hall of Manipur University that might be christened University Jubilee Hall, added the source.
