Imphal, August 29 2009:
Citing late monsoon, Shingkap Farmers Association has informed that Shingkap villagers are staring at possible hardships as there is hardly any sign of reaping food crops of jhum cultivation taken up at Katuram Loukol.
The Litan-based Association also expressed hope that authorities concerned would extend all possible assistance in ensuring availability of basic food items as well as provide help in overcoming the problem of crop failure.
