The Joint Action Committee formed in connection with the killing of Robina today alleged the government move of conducting judicial inquiry in to the July 23 shooting incident as an attempt to conceal the faults of the police commando personnel involved in the shooting.
The protest against the shooting incident is also unabated as staging of sit-in protest and carrying out of torch rally were held at many places today.
In a briefing to the media persons today, JAC member Nongleima said the body denied the judicial enquiry.
It's a trick of the state government to suppress the people agitation and to conceal the mistake committed by the police commandos.
The truth behind the incident has already exposed by the Tehelka and everybody well aware of the incident now.
The judicial inquiry is only to the spare the police commandos who killed people unrestrained way, she said.
She also expressed concern over the Governor remaining silent without taking up apparent action even though one month time given by him is coming to an end.
It showed that even though Manipur is a state of democratic country, India, the voice of the people is not heard by the government.
Instead of it, government is acting undemocratic action towards the people.
The matter has compel to think that Centre keep a separate view to the people of the state.
On the other hand, a torch a rally was carried out at Tera Loukrakpam Leikai against the July 23 shooting incident.
The rally marched upto Tera Bazar where IRB personnel on duty blocked them from further proceeding.
