Imphal, June 21:
The Manipur Drivers' Welfare Association has strongly condemned the killing of truck driver Kumar alias Khile of IT Road Second Turibari on June 18 while on duty at Pephima Nagaland, conveyed a release.
While sharing the pain and loss of the bereaved family, the Association has appealed to all concerned to release driver Amu (56) of Amu safely at the earliest on humanitarian ground and taking into consideration of the plight of the family members.
Amu was abducted by some unidentified persons from Maharabi on June 19.
