Kohima, June 21:
Several social organizations as well as chief minister Neiphiu Rio have strong condemned the barbaric and the most gruesome murder of Lhoubeizotou Vincent Dzuvichu by some miscreants yesterday in Dimapur.
Late Lhoubeizotou Vincent Dzyvichu, popularly known as Vincent, was a noted social worker and a resident of Agri-Forest Colony Kohima, was found murdered mercilessly from near Chumukedima Police Training Center early this morning.

According to family sources, late Vincent received a call in his mobile at about six o�clock yesterday evening at 7th Mile on his way to Kohima.
He was traveling with his eldest son.
He talked about two minutes in Tenyde and then turned back to Dimapur.
He parked his car near Deluxe Point, Dimapur and asked his son to wait for some time and went towards Hong Kong Market to meet the caller.
But he never returned, said the family member, adding this had alerted the other family members to search his whereabouts.
But in early morning, police had informed the family members that his dead body was found from near the Chumukedima Police Training Center.
Family members further said late Vincent was perhaps forcibly taken from Hong Kong Market towards Chumukedima Police Training Center and committed that most barbaric and heinous crime to him.
The killers must have used sharp iron rod and knives etc as his whole body had multiple cut marks including his face.
The whole incident became mysterious as the family members of late Vincent disclosed that they had not known any one having ill-motives or ill feelings towards him.
He was normally busy and concerned for the welbeing of the society.
They however suspected of jealous theory behind the heinous crime.
Several NGOs have also demanded the law enforcement agencies to investigate into the gruesome murder of late Vincent and award befitting punishment.
Meanwhile Chief Minister assured in his condolence message that the government would do its best to book the culprits.
Late Vincent had unsuccessfully contested the last Kohima Municipal Council elections in NPF ticket from Agri-Forest Ward.
He was well known for his social activities and ready-to-help attitude in the area.
His dead body reached here at his Agri-Forest residence at around 2 PM and funeral took place at 5 PM with large number of publics including various legislatures, high ranking civil and police officials attending it.
His mortal remains was finally taken to his native L Khel, Kohima Village for burial.
