Imphal, January 20:
Titular king of Manipur, Leishemba Sanajaoba has assured the people of Loushing village in Phungyar sub-division of Ukhrul district that memorial structures would be built at the village in remembrance of the time when Yuvraj Koireng took shelter there during the Anglo-Manipuri war.
The stone which was used to dry the clothes of the Yuvraj will also be erected said the titular king during the cultural festival held at the village.
The cultural festival was held under the theme, "Culture is a Chronicle" and various cultural items were displayed during the festival which kicked off on Jan 18 and will continue till Jan 21.
