Imphal, January 20:
The All Manipur Autonomous District Council Ad-Hoc Teachers Association has urged the Chief Minister to safeguard the rights of the ad-hoc teachers and redress the months-old discrimination and gross negligence by the government towards the ad-hoc teachers at all fronts.
The association in a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister said even after six months of appointment of by the state government the teachers are left m lurch, the services they have rendered has been forgotten and ignored.
It urged the CM to consider the value of the services to the children and make necessary arrangement to pay their due share at the earliest.
The appointments are made by the government inspite or some flaw.
It is the duty of the government to protect the services it said.
The government has no right to play games with the life of human beings it said.
It asked the government to positively act by January 28 failing which agitation will be launched.
