Chief Minister O Ibobi has conveyed his warm greetings to the people of Manipur particularly the Muslim brethren on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-zuha.
The Chief Minister in his message said that Idul-Zuha the festival of happiness, camaraderie and sacrifice reminds us of the supreme sacrifice made by prophet Ibrahim for the sake of mankind.
He also hoped that the festival spread the message of love, friendship and forgiveness among the people and help make Manipur more peaceful and prosperous.
UCM, All Manipur Muslim Students' Organisation, MSF and United People's Front Manipur have expressed its heartiest greetings to the Muslim brethern as well as the Kabuis on the occasion of Id-ul-zuha.
It also prayed that the festival ushers in peace, prosperity and unity among the different communities residing in the State.
MLA Md Abdul Salam while greeting the people on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-zuha has appealed to the Muslims to use the festival as an opportunity to cement the age old ties with the different communities residing in the State.
