Imphal, November 09:
Electricity Department has revised the schedule for load shedding as the demand of power supply has increased with the onset of winter season.
The step has been taken as the existing 132/33 KV sub-stations in the State are overloaded, Superintendent Engineer, Transmission Circle H Narendra Singh informed in a notification today.
Accordingly, Imphal areas would experience load-shedding on all alternate days from 0.00 hrs to 05.00 am, two hours daily between 4 am to 10 am and every third day from 4.30 pm hrs to 9:30 pm.
While outskirts of Imphal including other districts would experience load-shedding from 00:00 hrs to 05:00 am daily and for one hour daily between 5 am and 9 am.
