Imphal, April 11:
In connection with the ongoing agitation launched by the Meetei Mayek activists for the implementation of the indigenous script in schools and colleges of the State, the State Govt has begun holding talks with various student bodies as well as organisations with the primary aim of seeking their opinion on how to reach an amicable solution on the issue.
A meeting attended by Chief Minister in charge Th Debendra, PHE Minister K Govindas, MLA N Biren and representatives of DESAM, AISF, AMUCO and MSF was held today to, discuss the matter.
