The MNC has merged with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
The plenary session of the MNC was held on April 9 at the party office.
The resolutions reached during the session said, the Manipur National Conference came into existence with a convention on 20 Oct.
2001.The same was registered to the Election Commission of India.
During the Manipur Assembly Election 2002 the party Candidate S Natum Singh of the Sagolband Assembly constituency got elected and others were also in their winning margin.
The lone MLA of the party S Natum Singh was the Minister of state for Transport, Science & Technology in the SPF government.
Later the party withdrew support.
The pride of the party as a regional political party in serving this state is under the able leadership of Wahengbam Nipamacha Singh Ex-Chief Minister, who founded the party and guiding the members towards achieving the goal of the party.
It resolved that the Manipur National Conference look forward to the territorial integrity and unity of Manipur.
Over two thousand years Manipur had passed through the stages of feudalism, colonialism and democracy from an ancient kingdom to a modern state in the Indian republic.
All section of its people have contributed to this historical evolution.
Therefore a new social order is to be created in which every man and woman of any community irrespective of the ethnic affiliation, religion profession, language or culture will feel secure free equal and proud to this ancient land.
Preservation of identity, territorial Integrity and maintenance of unity will remain priority of the party.
The safety and security of all citizens within the state will he ensured only when effective steps are taken up to create a riot free and terrorism free Manipur.
Considering the present needs of the safety and security of the people the party demanded a govt.sponsored public dialogue wherein every citizen will have an opportunity to participate in the decision making process of the state.
To expedite a solution of the revolutionary movement the Govt of India and party concerned be the urgent priority of the stale.
Further the Manipur National conference appealed the party concerned for an early resolution of the conflicts.
The Central Executive Committee meeting held on 3rd April discussed the resolution of the central executive committee held on Dec 8, 2004.
