Lamka, September 12, 2010:
Churches in Nagaland today offered special prayer for peace in Naga areas.
The churches have responded to the call of the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) to set aside today as prayer day for peace and unity in Naga areas.
The call of the FNR had come amid possible resurgence of factional tension among the Naga underground groups after a gap of two years.
Meanwhile, Naga Peoples Movement for Human Rights has expressed its sincere appreciation to the overwhelming prayer support by all Naga citizens across the length and breath of Naga "homeland" and multitude of Christian believers heeding to the FNR call for supporting Naga reconciliation process.
