Two dead bodies have been retrieved by the police from different parts of the state in the last 24-hours.One of the dead bodies was retrieved by Moirang police from the bank of the Khuga river at Phaiton Hayaikon village yesterday.
The dead body has been sent to RIMS morgue.
The yet to be identified dead body aged around 35 to 40 years seems to be a tribal.
He wore a black coloured track pant and a pink coloured T-shirt.
The body has started to decompose.
Police observed several bruise marks on the body.
The other dead body with injury marks in the head was retrieved today by Churachandpur police from a spot on the inter-village road at Tuibong under Churachandpur police station.
The deceased has been identified as Jaminthang (27) son of late Jamkhothang of Thingkhangphai village of Churachandpur district.
The dead body has been taken by the family after postmortem at RIMS morgue today.
