Imphal, August 22 2010:
Shopkeepers of Singjamei Super Market in Imphal protested on Sunday against the 'monetary demands' made by two underground organisations.
The shop-owners of the market complex said that one militant group has demanded Rs 5 lakhs and the other one demanding Rs 4 lakhs.
The business community of the market complex said that the demands are too huge an amount that they cannot bear it.
The shop-owners also lamented that they are making both ends meet by just running small businesses in this market complex.
However, due to the numerous demands made by the militant groups, they no longer can bear the burden.
