The former Chief Minister and president of NCP state unit, Radhabinod Koijam, today appealed the people not to give place in politic to those who amuse wealth with unfair means with the intention of buying votes at the time of elections.
The opposition leader was speaking at one day political conference of the NCP youth wing at Lalambung Makhong Community hall in Imphal west district today.
He observed that many power hungry people are amusing wealth using easy ways of money earning and doing government contract works so that they can buy votes for entry into politics.
When such people joined the politic in state, the present chaotic situation of the state is bring about.
People should be beware of such people and prevented them from entering to politic so that the diminishing status of the politicians could be saved from
further degradation.
Many persons who had record of siphoning money in terms of crore mean for developmental funds are joning politic, he observed and asked what good thing can be expected from them by the people.
If such people who intended to buy rights of the people with money power, the state will remain backward.
Radhabinod further said that it is in the hand of youths of today to bring a revolution in the state where there no better in every fields.
They should stay away from who thing of buying people's power with money.
The one day political conference was attended by many youths of the IMC ward no.3 within the Thangmeiband Assembly constituency.
