In case of any loss either in terms of money or otherwise due to non-submission of affidavits and counter-affidavits to Courts in time, due actions would be initiated against the relevant officers under the Manipur Public Servant Personal Liability Act.
A decision to this effect was adopted by the State Cabinet today.
Briefing newspersons on the Cabinet meeting this afternoon, SPF spokesperson N Biren stated that the decision was adopted to ward off any loss or embarrassment or complications due to non-submission of Government affidavits, counter-affidavits or rejoinders to Courts in time.
The Cabinet meeting also gave consent to creation of two MCS Grade II posts for deputing one SDO each to Senapati and Jessami.
It also decided on entrusting the General Administrative Department to finalise State holiday list and annual calendar.
Further, the Cabinet meeting gave approval to recruitment of Th Dhaballo, son of late Zilla Parishad Member Th Sanayanba to the post of ASI in Manipur Police, Biren conveyed.
Th Sanayanba was shot dead by KCP-MTF last month.
