Imphal, June 11 2009:
Contending that KCP (MC) Lallumba Group is an organisation whose agenda is only to malign image of the ongoing revolutionary movement, KCP (MC) called upon the people to remain vigil so that dubious characters such as Lallumba do not dilute the movement.
In a statement issued today by the secretary military affair of the KCP (MC) Lanheiba Meitei, the armed outfit demeaned Lallumba as an individual whose sole agenda apart from creating confusion in the society is to subdue the revolutionary movement under the patronage of both the Central and State security forces.
Contending that Lallumba is a decoy of Indian security forces who had been projecting the individual as president of the Lallumba Group, Lanheiba meitei maintained that none of the KCP's military cadres (Meeyamgee Feengang Lanmee) recognises or grants recognition of who Lallumba is.
insisting that KCP (MC) is well aware of officials of security force agencies who had baited Lallumba into acting at their (SF's) whims for which befitting consequences would befall upon them, the Military Affair secretary also conceded that in a long-drawn revolutionary movement individuals like Lallumba would surface to undermine the movement.
Expressing that there may be numerous revolutionary groups waging armed struggles with differences in ideology or principle, Lanheiba nevertheless affirmed that for every revolutionary organisation the specific goal is to emancipate the people from subjugation of external forces or rule.
As the agenda declared recently by the Lallumba Group for the proposed peace talks with the Government of India and manipur do not reflect any of the revolutionary spirit or goal, it could be safely construed that Lallumba is aspiring to be among the Indian political class.
Moreover, apprehensive of the KCP (MC) generating support from the masses, security agencies had plotted to percolate Lallumba as a revolutionary leader only to create fissures in the rank and file of the KCP organisations and most important confuse the people, Lanheiba opined.
Recounting that seeds for restoring manipur's sovereign state and to establish an egalitarian society had been sown since about 1950-51 by eminent figures including Comrade Irabot which the KCP (MC) is committed to sustain, Lanheiba acknowledged there would be disruptive elements like Lallumba to delay realisation of the cherished goal.
However, Lanheiba affirmed, presence of dubious characters in the midst of the Manipuri society would not be able to deny the people from reaping the fruit of revolutionary perseverance as there exists enough cadre strength in the KCP (MC) organisation to thwart devilish intention of individuals like Lallumba.
Conveying that KCP (MC) has unflinching commitment to conjure up 'iron disciplined force' to defy and stave-off challenges posed by adversary forces, Lanheiba also sought cooperation of the general public to further the movement.
While clarifying that KCP (MC) fully understands the fact that only through armed struggle freedom of Manipur could not be restored, Lanheiba described reliance upon arms/weapons as a protective necessity from onslaught of adversary forces.
The military affairs secretary further pointed out that Central Security Council of the outfit never sanctioned use of weapons to intimidate the general public but such a restriction do not cover MFL cadres when there are compulsions to test fire power of Indian security forces.
