Zeliangrong Baudi unhappy with govt

An emergency meeting of the Zeliangrong Baudi held yesterday, attended by public leaders and its frontal organizations in Tamenglong, expressed unhappiness when SPF government unable to provide security to a team of Naga People Front coming to the state to tour to Naga dominated district.
M Akham, Assistant Secretary Information of Zeliangrong Baudi in a press released said that the working committee of NPF headed by TR Zeliang, Minister and Chairman of working Committee, NPF was proposed to visit four districts, Chandel, Tamenglong, Ukhrul and Senapati on February 21 and 22 but due to non-provision of necessary security, they failed to arrive.
Strongly criticizing the SPF government for its immature decision of not providing security, the boudi drew the attention of the government of India and people of the state particularly the Naga, the Zeliangrong saying that the one sided attitude of the SPF government has resulted in the demand for alternative arrangement for the Nagas in the state.
The Zeliangrong public will extend full cooperation in the effort of the NPF in extending its activities in the Naga inhabitant areas the statement reaffirmed the pursuant of the 3rd Naga People Convention declaration of the United Naga Council in Senapati last year.
The released appealed to the Zeliangrong people not to invite ministers and MLAs of SPF government to any function and warned that the boudi will not responsible for any consequences arising out of violation of the said restriction.
