Reporters prevented from entering Raj Bhavan

CRPF personnel at the Imphal Raj Bhavan have prevented reporters from entering into the bhavan and cover the Rajya Puraskar award held in the Durbar hall of Imphal Raj Bhavan.
Reporters were blocked at the gate saying that they names were not included in the lists of the persons who are to take part in the function.
Even though, reporters showed their identity cards and invitation cards provided by the organizers, the CRPF prevented from entering using unpleasant words.
Meanwhile, Governor, Gurbachan Jagat distributed the Rajya Puraskar award to 50 scouts and 35 guides who have successfully in the tests for the award.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurbachan expressed hopes that scouts and guides will lourels of the state.
"As you all are well aware that the boys and girls of Manipur have tremendous potential in the fields of games and sports as well as arts and culture and as such, I hope that our boys and guides will also bringmany prestigious award for the state," he said.
