ZUF hails its slain 'heroes'

Imphal, June 05 2012:
The proscribed outfit, Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) hailed the two fallen soldiers of Ijeirong-Oktan shoot out on 30th May 2012 and said that they fought gallantly and laid down their lives in the battle field.
In a letter posted to Makam Post, ZUF said that it has now occupied the area vacated by the adversary who will not dear to return.
The Front paid homage to the two slain soldiers during a condolence meeting held at its Dilung (Head Quarter) and observed two minutes silent as mark of respect to the departed souls.

ZUF further said that the Front also shared the grief of the bereaved families of the gallant soldiers lance Corporal Dilaunthai Panmei S/o Dimthuilung Panmei and D.Gaitasinlu Panmei of Taosang Khunou and Philimon Riamei S/o Kangdai, Taosemjaeng, Khoupum.
Remroi claimed that the supreme sacrifice of the patriots has brought about immense affection and solidarity among the kindred tribes Zeliangrong, Inpui, Chiru and others and the Revolution marches forward.
Extending gratitude to all for the pains, concern and help in cash or in kind, Remroi said the names of ZSUM, ZSULA, Inpui Student's Union, Longmai Area Women's Society, Soubunglong youth, and others who carried the dead bodies, Taosang village Authorities, Khoupum Area Women, Longmai V/A, Longmai Bazzar Board V/A Council, Houchong Area, Churches of Houchong Area, Khoupum Araea V/A Council, Khoupum Area Churches and LP Khoupum Area and other civilians deserved to be mentioned.
