Truck impounded for misusing Church name

Senapati, June 20 2017:
A truck (AS-01- GC-5514) was caught plying with an unauthorized print "Song Song Baptist Church" on June 10.The truck was plying from Guwahati to Imphal carrying biscuits, dunlop mattresses and others.
The driver of the truck was identified as one Ajit Kumar Khatiwoda S/o Jagat Chhetri of Chuchakhop (c), Irang, Part-1, Senapati and Brejit Kumar, Assam was found to be the owner of the said vehicle.
The Mao Baptist Church Song Song (MBCSS) has vehemently condemned the act of misusing its name in such a blatant manner.
It warned that such an unscrupulous act will not be tolerated in future and defaulter/perpetrator will be dealt with severely.
The Church expressed its heartfelt gratitude to social workers for being vigilant and for acting fast in reporting the matter to the Church.
MBCSS appealed to the authorities in uniform to kindly make an effort in checking the authenticity of any goods carrier that has the Church name on it to avoid such criminal act in the future.
