In connection with the forthcoming HSLC and Higher Secondary examination which are scheduled to begin from March 12 and 9 respectively, Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has appealed to all concerned not to give any sort of disturbance in the smooth conduct of the said examinations.
Apart from seeking the support and co-operation of the civil organisations, toward ensuring smooth conduct of the examinations, the student body has also appealed to the Government for deploying adequate security personnel at all the examination centres.
In a statement, publicity and propaganda secretary of the student body Khundongbam Noyon further appealed to the students not to use unfair measures during the examination as well as to the invigilators and other officials on duty not to encourage malpractices during the examination.
The student body also appealed to the State Government to ensure regular power supply during the period of these examinations.
