Twenty-seven school children of Churachandour, engaged by the Army for about twenty days on a special trip to explore various significant establishments of the country under its Military Civic Action programme returned yesterday with recognizably cheerful vibe.
Drawn from five institutions of the district, the kids accompanied by a lady teacher, an Army doctor and a couple of other guides had enormously toured the national capital and the historically significant cities of Agra and Jaipur.
During the sponsored tour, the students and their teacher were given the opportunity to interact with several dignitaries of the Indian Army including its Deputy y Chief of Staff and also the students of various Army schools.
Another batch of school-kids will again be flagged-off on Friday for a similar trip, Brigadier Sharmah, Commander of 27th Sector Assam Rifles said at the reception ceremony organized later yesterday.
Continuing its generosity towards the general populace, the Army in addition is all set to organize a 'Multi Specialist Medical Camp' at Tuibuang Helipad Ground on Friday and Saturday.
Minor operation and admission, ECG test, lab investigation for urine and blood will be done free of cost during the medical camp.
Specialist Doctors for Medicine, Eye, Surgical and Dental will also be available for consultation.
