While issuing some specific directives to the Kut organising committee, the KNO/KLA has withdrawn the ban it imposed on various programmes of the State Level Kut 2007 which are scheduled at night.
According to a statement issued by KNO/KLA Information and Publicity secretary Amstrong Gangte, the night's programme should be conducted under strict guidance of the Kuki Mothers' Association.
All contestants of Miss Kut and other ladies should ladies should wear traditional costumes and dresses.
Traditional folk artistes, scholars, social workers and public leaders should be accorded due respect.
Only special and invited artistes shall perform in the Kut festival.
Other bands/artistes who are not invited should not be allowed to give any stage performance, mentioned the directive.
All Kut members, participants, volunteers, guest artistes etc shall refrain from taking any kind of intoxicants and anti-Kuki activities.
All communities are to be welcomed but undue interference against the interest of Kut festival shall not be tolerated.
The KNO/KLA further informed that a special task force shall oversee all the activities and conduct of the Kut 2007 organisers and participants.
Fitting actions shall be initiated against defaulters without warning, it cautioned.
The KNO/KLA shall evaluate the overall conduct/activities of this year's Kut celebration for future Kut festivals and shall take necessary decisions, it added.
