The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur has set its eyes on listing the marks of the candidates who pass in the first and second divisions at the time of declaring their results.
The CHSEM is working towards introducing the new arrangement from this year onwards.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, the Secretary of the Council, Dr N Kunjabihari said that the new arrangement is being planned so as to convenience the students in choosing their future course of academic pursuit.
Earlier, the mark sheets were issued after the results were declared and it was not possible for the candidates to know his/her aggregates till the mark sheets were issued.
Since the previous year, the Council had launched a website, http://manresults.nic.in to enable students to access information immediately.
Though the Council is keen on declaring the results along with the marks obtained by the students, a final decision is yet to be taken, he said.
To achieve the new arrangement, the Council will need additional man power as well as more computers, said the Secretary.
Meanwhile, evaluation of the answer scripts of this year's Class 12 exam started on April 27 at the Ananda Singh higher Secondary School and RK Sanatombi BEd College, North AOC.
At first the Council had set its eyes on declaring the results by May 15, but due to the deployment of security personnel for the Lok Sabha election, the evaluation process got delayed, said the Secretary.
