Imphal, July 05: Members of Manipur Electricity Department Engineers Services' Association, Manipur Electricity Employees' Union and Manipur State Electricity Department Employees' Union jointly demonstrated against the shooting of Executive Engineer of PWD Thoubal Division RK Mobisana and AFA of Electricity Department L Charu on their legs by unidentified gunmen in front of the Keishampat office of the Department today.

The protest demonstration was held in the backdrop of the frequent instances of threats to the Engineers and their family members as well as undue pressure from unidentified gunmen toward dispensing their duties.
