There will be a major change in the traffic system at the Khwairamband Bazar as the barricade at BT Road for the construction of fly over has started, according to an order of Director Transport, Government of Manipur.
According to the order, there is no way from Uripok side towards the Khwairamband and BT Road.
There is only one way from Keishampat Bridge to the Paona Road upto Pratap Talkies.
Vehicles from the Masjid Road can move towards the Pologround road than the Governor road.
No four wheelers will be allowed from the Paona road to Masjid road.
Any vehicle can move at the Governor road to and fro.
However there is no parking zone at the Governor road.
Vehicles from the Kasturi Bridge are allowed to move towards the Ima Keithel.
The way from BT road to the Assembly road through Family Welfare road will be a one way traffic.
Any vehicle from BT road towards the MPP road is not allowed to move.
The Thoubal Parking will be shifted to Palace compound.
The Mayai Lambi Parking near Keishampat power house will also be shifted to the Palace compound.
Any vehicle from Thoubal side will be parked at Palace compound.
Heavy vehicles from the Churachandpur side will be parked at Krishnadas Oil pump.
Vehicles from the Mayai Lambi will be parked at Palace compound.
The road near the M-sector will be opened.
However it is one way.
Any vehicle from the Kangla Park side can not enter Through this road.
The above traffic arrangements will be converted into action from Jan 22.
