To take stock of the ongoing AFC's grassroot development programme in Manipur, AFC Grassroot and Youth Development official Jita Singh today tour Bishnupur district and inspected schools and its respective playing fields.
The AFC official who is on a four day visit to the State interacted with Local Organising Committee (LOC) of District Sports Association, Bishnupur at its office and discuss ways and means to achieve the stated goals of the project.
Earlier before leaving for Bishnupur, the AFC official also visited Khuman Lampak sports complex and plant tree sapling near AFC office inside the complex.
He also interacted with AMFA officials.
During his discussion with LOC members, the latter prevail on the visiting official to extend funds for developing football infrastructure in the district considering the economic condition of the State.
Jita said that he will put up the matter to AFC and the demand of AMFA through AIFF.
After the meeting with LOC members, Jita inspect schools grounds located in the district though has rain devastated most of the playground.
During the inspection the team found the playground condition of Oinam H/S and Leimaram H/S in good condition.
However the team could not proceeded towards Thanga as there was an accident on the road at Sendra.
The visiting AFC expert will visit schools and playground located in Thoubal and Kakching.
