Imphal, January 25:
The 37 Assam Rifles Commanding Officer Sanjay Kapoor has claimed that the underground United national Liberation Front (UNLF) has issued strong instructions to village chiefs of five border villages of Molcham area to ensure return of villagers currently taking shelter at Moreh refugee camps.
The information was conveyed by the Ar CO in person to correspondents of five Moreh based State dailies today.
According to Kapoor the village chiefs of the said areas, from where ordinary villagers fled to Moreh following skirmishes between the Indian Army and cadres of underground outfits, were instructed by the UNLF to relay information on advances of Indian troops as well as KNA activists.
