Imphal, January 25:
Casting doubt at the manner in which Brindavan pilgrim from Uripok Sinam Leikai - one Thongam Gopal was found dead the victim's son charged that all responsibility should be fixed against the pilgrimage leader Radhamohan of Khongjom.
Interacting with news-persons today, the son Th Nilakumar said under the aegis of Radhamohan the pilgrim party left Imphal on January 1.Radhamohan and Nilakumar are said to be colleagues both working at the JN Manipur Dance Academy.
Claiming that the pilgrimage programme was dominated by persons from Khongjom are Nilakumar said his father's body was brought home yesterday morning by Radhamohan and two women in a passenger jeep.
Even though Radhamohan cited cardiac arrest as cause of Gopal's death several bruise marks where found on the body when it was cleaned up for cremation, alleged Nilakumar.
Unconvinced at Radhamohan's contention on the cause of death, Gopal's family members reached for the tour organiser's Khongjom residence but was informed that he (Radhamohan) had not returned from the pilgrimage.
As the case is shrouded in mystery Nilakumar desired that Radhamohan need an explicit explanation on the matter at the earliest.
A police case has also been registered on the matter, he added.
