Imphal, March 05:
Expressing deep concern over the overall conditions of 13 kukis and one Meitei Pangal who are currently languishing in the Myanmar jail No 2227/C of Sagang Division, Kuki Inpi Manipur has appealed to both the State Govt as well as the Central Govt to take the 14 prisoners out from the Myanmar jail and lodged them in some jails in India which has better living conditions.
In a statement, KIM informed that a man from the Kuki tribe identified as one Ngamkhulun Mate (35) who had fallen sick expired last month inside the Myanmarese jail after no proper medical treatment was given to the prisoner.
