Women cooperative education project which is one of the networks projects of National Cooperative Union of India, New Delhi has been implementing many activities since 2000 August for the benefit of the members of self help groups and the primary cooperative societies in each project areas in Imphal East area.
The project mainly aims at the socio-economic upliftment of the rural masses in general and women folk in particular.
In addition to the normal awareness programmes for the development of economic aspect the project has been implementing many other social aspects in collaboration with various departments, NGOs, extension units drawing full cooperation from many local leaders.
Today again a one day free homoeopathic treatment camp was held at Khabam village in association with three self help groups in the village.
The free service was rendered by the Homoeo Poly Clinic Research Centre, New Checkon and the state mobile ISM.
Dr Guneshore Singh led the team comprising of seven homoeo physicians.
Altogether 256 patients were treated and also free medicines were distributed.
