Imphal, December 29 2008:
The All Tribal Disables' Union, Manipur (ATDUM) has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding re-publication of the advertisement regarding recruitment of teachers under Autonomous District Councils with 3 percent reservation for disabled persons which was reportedly not mentioned in the earlier advertisement, conveyed a press release.
The memorandum also appealed for providing free education to disabled students below 18 years as per Section 26 of the Disabilities Act 1995, added the release.
