Imphal, November 30:
The Senapati District Students' Association has appealed to all the transporters and drivers of buses and Sumos plying on NH 39 though Senapati district not to carry goods and passengers beyond the capacities of the vehicles.
Observing that the road condition of the NH 39 within the district is not up to the standard, the student body said that it would seize local taxis if they are found operating without valid licence.
It further appealed to all concerned not to allow under-age children to drive vehicles on the National highway.
