Imphal, January 05:
The Guwahati High Court has today stayed a Govt order which notified that the Manipur Agro Industries Corpor- ation has been closed down.
Justice N Singh in his Imphal bench sitting issued the interim order following a writ petition filed by over 30 employees of the ill fated corporation.
The petitioners primarily challenged Govt's notification made on August 20, 2003 according to advocate Kh Chonjohn, who appeared on behalf of the petitioners.
