Public toilet, water supply scheme inaugurated

Imphal, March 28, 2014:
32 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) constructed a Public Toilet for the people of Rungchang village in South Chandel District.
According to a statement issued by PRO IGAR (S) in this regard, the residents of this village used to regularly fall ill due to unhygienic conditions as there was no permanent shelter or place for daily ablutions.
Taking note of this, 32 Assam Rifles constructed a Public Toilet for the locals under the Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme.
The Public Toilet was inaugurated by Officiating Commandant 32 Assam Rifles on 26 March 2014. Meanwhile, 9 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) provided a water supply scheme to Chongjang village under the Assam Rifles Military Civic Action Programme on 26 March 2014 .
