Imphal, November 27 2009:
Network of Positive People, Senapati (NPPS) under the aegis of CRPF Group Centre, Langjing kick started a two-month vocational training programme for 15 widows living with HIV/AIDS of the district on November 26.Commandant Officiating DIG of CRPF Group Centre, Langjing, Anupam Sharma graced the function as chief guest.
The function was attended by CRPF and NPPS officials, prominent figures of the town trainees and instructors.
Sewing machines, embroidery machines, knitting machines, other instruments and raw materials were provided to NPPS for the programme, said a CRPF press release.
