Imphal, November 27 2009:
Vehicular traffic along Imphal-Dimapur Road remained affected on account of the 24-hour bandh called since last midnight by the Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) in protest against deplorable condition of the road stretch from Senapati to Mao.
No passenger buses were plied along the road and the market places located on either sides remained shut down during the bandh which concluded midnight today.
Around 130 Imphal bound goods laden trucks coming from outside were stranded at Mao Gate on owing to the bandh.
