The medical team of 39 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector saved the life of a man bitten by a venomous snake on June 16, said a PRO IGAR (S) release that identified the victim as Ajay Limbu (35) of IT Line, Mantripukhri.
Ajay was reportedly brought to the unit hospital in critical condition by his relatives and was immediately attended by the medical officer who administered lifesaving anti-snake venom thereby preventing possible fatality.
On the other hand, a medical camp was organised by 12 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector at Kamjong village today wherein patients of Kamjong and nearby areas were diagnosed.
