The United Committee Manipur (UCM) has invited one and all to the 9th Great June Uprising Day observance scheduled for tomorrow.
Speaking to media persons at their Lamphelpat office today, UCM president Yumnamcha Dilip kumar said that all preparations for the 9th Great June Uprising Day observance have been completed.
He called upon all to pay fitting obeisance to the martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for the territorial integrity of Manipur.
"Let's pledge collectively to stand united and live in harmony", Dilip kumar appealed.
After offering tributes to the June 18 martyrs at Kekrupat, a public meeting to be attended by leaders of all indigenous communities will follow.
Accusing the Govt of India of double standard, and trying to pitch one community against another, the UCM president asserted that the people should understand the ploys of New Delhi and stand united against their evil design.
He further appealed to all transporters to continue their service as usual tomorrow.
