Imphal, May 15:
National Highway 39 remained cut off from early morning till 1 pm today following landslides over a distance of 20 feet near Mt Zion English School, about 2 kms north of Karong Bazar in Senapati district.
Traffic along the route was resumed after the debris were cleared by workers of PWD, Senapati district, later in the afternoon.
On receiving the report of the landslide, an official team led by the Deputy Commissioner of Senapati district rushed to the site to inspect the road clearing work.
