Imphal, September 16:
There have been gross errors in the written test conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur today for recruitment of Supervisors, LDCs and Statistical Assistants in the Department of Social Welfare.
In the written test held at 48 different centres, there were two candidates against one roll number in LDC category.
It is learnt that Pebam Saratchandra of Chingmeirong and Lalhriatpuii of Hmar Veng, Churachandpur have the same roll number 969.Both of them were appearing in LDC test.
While examination attendance sheet for the first candidate was given at Singjamei Girls High School centre, the attendance sheet for the second candidate was not given at all.
However, both the candidates were allowed to appear in the test.
On the other hand, the Manipur Anganwadi Mahila Organisation has alleged that not a single question related to ICDS was included in the question paper for Supervisors which are promotion posts from Anganwadi workers.
Moreover, the recruitment test started 1 hour 30 minutes later than the scheduled time given in admit cards.
Question papers were also not brought on time.
Asserting that the recruitment test held today was smote with errors and irregularities, the Manipur Anganwadi Mahila Organisation rather urged for declaration of the written test held on March 3 this year in connection with ICDS.
